Nice gig with a Jim Beam sales rep who wanted to run some promotional programs with two high end local restaurants. Ended up making 20, 10 for each from some white oak. A nod to the barrel used to craft the nectar.
Originally I was going to leave the logos natural for more contrast but decided to stain those as well. Gives it a classier look in my opinion. Sourced some whiskey tasting glasses and pocketed for a perfect fit once they came in. Carved another pocket and painted on chalkboard paint so you'd know which flavor your tasting. Cut a chamfer on the bottom for looks and as a finger hold. Finished off with numerous coats of General Finishes High Performance satin.
